Storage recommendations

 

Store at a constant temperature (20°C, RH 50%) in the dark. Damp or hot conditions should be avoided.

Shelf life

 

A) Dispersion adhesives (except RR21, RR22, RP45, RP48, RP40). The laminate is guaranteed for two years if stored in the above conditions.

B) RR21, RR22, RP40 and RH adhesives. The laminate is guaranteed for one year if stored in the above conditions.

C) Printed labels are guaranteed for one year if stored in the above conditions. Face paper has a slight tendency to discolour, but this does not affect the scannability of the barcodes.

D) With RP48 guaranteed for 6 months.

E) RP45 not recommended

Printability

 

Flexography, letterpress, hot foil. The metallized layer has been coated with an acrylic lacquer, which gives excellent printability. Special inks designed for non-absorbent materials should be used.

Advantages

 

Die-cutting is easier than with foil - greatly extending the die life. An inexpensive alternative to hot foil stamping. Suitable for labelling of sharp corners.
